KinPin
Find a meeting spot that's fair for everyone in your group. Find your middle.
For groups of friends who plan hangouts in a group chat and keep getting stuck on where to meet.
Actively being worked on. We're building this right now. Features and details on this page may change as we go.
The problem, and how KinPin helps
The problem
Every time the group tries to plan a hangout, the chat turns into “what about this place?” over and over. Everyone quietly works out whether it's too far for them, and somebody always ends up with the long trip.
The solution
KinPin does the fairness math for you. Everyone adds where they're coming from, and the app suggests places where travel times are as even as possible. Then the group votes, and the winner goes back to the chat with directions.
What KinPin does
Fairest spots first
Venues are ranked by how evenly travel time is shared, so no one gets stuck with the long trip.
One link to join
The host drops one link in the group chat, and friends tap it to join and add their location.
Group voting
Everyone votes. If there's a tie, pick the fairest option, roll the dice, or revote.
Calendar conflict check
Connect your calendar and KinPin warns you about clashes and suggests times when everyone's free.
Quick nudges
One-tap updates like “Running late,” “On my way” and “I'm here.”
Do it again
Past hangouts are saved, so you can re-plan a favorite with the same friends in one tap.
Three steps
Start a plan, pick the vibe (dinner, drinks, coffee and more), and share the link in your group chat.
Friends tap the link and add their name and where they're coming from.
KinPin suggests the fairest spots, the group votes, and the winner is shared back with directions.
Common questions
What does “fair” mean here?
KinPin looks for spots where everyone's travel times are as close to each other as possible.
Do my friends need the app?
Yes. They tap the link you share, install KinPin if they don't have it, and add their name and location.
Does KinPin keep my location?
Your location is only used for the active plan and is deleted afterward.
Can KinPin see what's on my calendar?
No. Connecting your calendar is optional, and KinPin only reads whether you're free or busy, never event details.
